A Left 4 Dead Crash Course in Story Telling

With The new campaign comes new dialog from our 4 favorite zombie apocalypse survivors (Chris Redfield got nothing on Bill’s Beard) .  Here’s a video featuring many of the new chit chat (Some not included). DO NOT WATCH IF YOU’RE SENSITIVE TO SPOILERS, If you’re not, enjoy and have a laugh :).

More spoilerific stuff after the break!

Beside the new conversations, there’s new graffiti which Valve uses to tell L4D’s story.

Crash Course (CC) is a pretty nice campaign in my opinion. I hear of people complaining that it’s too short but Valve has mentioned in the past that they meant CC to be a quick campaign, taking roughly 20-30 minutes to finish (which is quite accurate). I enjoy some of the new concepts introduced in CC, such as more inventive ways to blend alarmed car in with the environment, or the idea of having one really long chapter, kinda like 2 chapters cram into one. It’s also a lot more open, and offer multiple routes to many locations. Wither you like it or not, one has to appreciate Valve’s continuing support of free content for their old games.
